Standing in a private rural location above the market town of Lostwithiel and overlooking the River Fowey and St Winnow Valley, the yurts are ideal for guests looking for an alternative style of holiday accommodation. Lostwithiel town centre is only a short walk down the hill where guests can enjoy the variety of amenities including restaurants, pubs, shops and the award winning produce market. The yurts are located 10 minutes drive from the Eden Project and approximately 15 minutes drive to the nearest beach.

The Retreat is dedicated to adults who wish to get away from everyday stress, to recharge their batteries and experience total relaxation.

The Eastern Yurt is a 5 metre round Yurt sleeping 2 people. With a mix of vibrant and traditional colours and textures which transforms this yurt into a cosy, yet exotic space with a modern twist. Individual authentic Asian pieces of furniture and furbishing let the yurt reflect its origins, while giving it a luxurious feel.

The yurt is fitted with a comfortable king size bed, a wood burner, floor cushions in the seating area and a low table bearing witness to traditional yurt living. It has a chest of drawers, basket storage and hanging space. The 5 metre circle makes this a very spacious living area.

Outside is a private patio with BBQ, private hammock and seating. An initial supply of wood is supplied and further wood supplies can be purchased on site. Please note that there is a limited supply of electricity.

On site there is a communal kitchen and meeting space, toilet, shower block and hammocks in the trees. A Canadian canoe is ready by the river for excursions to Lerryn and Fowey, or you could simply paddle in the river. All you need for a perfect relaxing holiday.

Alternative therapies can be arranged either in the town or on the site including massage, yoga, sacranial osteopathy, reflexology and much more. All therapists are fully qualified and certificated.

Dogs are accepted on the farm at their owners risk and must be kept on a lead within the communal spaces and outside the Yurts. Please bear in mind that there is livestock in the surrounding fields. Please bring your own dog bed. Dogs are subject to a £20.00 cleaning fee.

Fires are only allowed in designated areas using only the materials provided.
