Enjoying an elevated position with terraced lawned gardens overlooking the beach at Porth, this charming mid-19th century Manor is now complemented by the modern day comforts of a well-appointed hotel following a major refurbishment programme completed during 2007.

Just a few minutes stroll down from the grounds via a private footpath is direct access to the sandy beach, and the neighbouring bays of Watergate and Mawgan Porth beckon the keen walker along coastal paths.

Porth Veor Manor provides a tranquil haven yet is only a mile from Newquay, Cornwall`s premier resort. The hotel’s facilities include a restaurant with fine dining and a good wine cellar, an attractive well-stocked bar, lounge areas and Victorian-style conservatory plus a heated outdoor pool. Croquet and putting are planned for this summer. There is also free wireless internet access available throughout the hotel.

Lunches are served daily. Morning coffee and afternoon teas are available in the bar, lounges or on the terrace.

ALL BEDROOMS are well furnished with private bath or shower rooms, central heating, satellite TV with a wide range of channels including Sky Sports, plus tea/coffee maker

FAMILY ROOMS are available for two adults plus maximum two children, in extra child beds or bunk beds

PETS cannot be accepted, with the exception of registered guide or service dogs which are welcome free of charge.

GROUP DISCOUNTS are available for parties of 12 or more, details on request.

CHECK IN Your room is normally ready on arrival day from 3pm.

SERVICE CHARGE The hotel makes no service charge. All staff gratuities are made at the discretion of guest.

DISABLED CLIENTS are most welcome. We have one ground floor hotel room suitable for guests with walking difficulties. The bar, restaurant and conservatory are all on the ground floor. However, please note there is no lift, and all bedrooms are unsuitable for those confined to a wheelchair or with severe walking difficulties.

Situated overlooking Porth beach with beautiful coastal views, Beaucliffes Restaurant enjoys a well-earned reputation for fine cuisine and service.

A full English breakfast is served daily for all guests. For those who have booked half board accommodation a 4-course table d`hôte dinner is included, plus coffee, and a table will automatically be reserved each evening.

The talented team of chefs at Beaucliffes Restaurant strive to offer diners an exciting variety of menus with mouth watering dishes created using only the highest quality produce. The evening menu changes daily taking advantage of the freshest ingredients in season and the produce is sourced locally whenever possible. During the warmer summer months, weather permitting, a weekly al fresco style of dining is offered with our locally renowned `Great Outdoors Eating Experience.`

Please note that bed and breakfast guests are most welcome to take dinner (subject, of course, to space), and the table d`hôte menu price is £28. Arrangements can also be made for vegetarian dishes and special diets.
