Shilbury Retreat, set in a private and well tended garden is ideally situated for those seeking a restful and secluded location in the depths of the Cornish countryside, being more than half a mile from the nearest highway. There are many miles of off-road tracks for the keen walker, a rich and varied wildlife for the birdwatcher or naturalist, along with fascinating evidence of a Bronze Age settlement nearby.

The local village has an excellent well stocked general store, fruit and vegetable shop and pub, whilst a wide range of other shops, pubs and restaurants are available in the coastal village of Perranporth with its famed sandy beach only ten minutes drive away.

The location is ideal for exploring the many delights Cornwall has to offer being 5 miles from the famous north coast surfing resort of Newquay and less than 10 minutes drive from the A30 trunk road .

This self catering property has open plan accommodation suitable for two guests, as well as one well trained dog.

There are sliding patio doors allowing access into the property.

HEATING Wall mounted electric heaters.

PARKING Parking for one car.

PET FRIENDLY A maximum of one small/medium dog is welcome at this property but must not be left unattended. Please bring your own pet bedding. Pets are not permitted on the furniture or on the beds and we ask that the dog is kept on a lead and supervised at all times whilst outside the property. Please remove all traces of pets from the property and garden at the end of your stay. As a result of Government legislation we are unable to accept the following types of dog American Pit Bull Terrier, Japanese Tosa, Fila Brasileiro and Doga Argentino even where these types of dogs are muzzled as required by law.
