Newquay is full of dozens of eateries serving the freshest seafood, including The Fish House at Fistral Beach, The Harbour Fish and Grill, and of course, Rick Stein’s takeaway overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. Walk straight off the beach and into the serene setting of The Lewinnick, or for fresh catches and cocktails head to Cove 24.
There is nothing better than getting some fish and chips and tucking into them watching the sun setting over the sea. And before you leave Cornwall, you have to try a proper Cornish pasty!
Beaches & Bays

Spring is the perfect time for an early break as an abundance of flowers come to life. Head to the National Trust Gardens at Trerice near Newquay or the subtropical oasis at Trebah, and don’t miss the Eden Project.
Make the most of summertime, and spend long lazy days discovering Cornwall’s golden sands. Children delight in rock-pooling, take a refreshing dip in the sea or catch some waves on a bodyboard!
During autumn, see the colours of the leaves turn amber and experience late summer sunshine. You might even have the beach to yourself.
