Top Golf Courses Near Newquay

  • Newquay Golf Club runs alongside Fistral Beach and is in the heart of the town, with stunning views across the headland. It’s been a golfing gem since it was built in 1890. 
  • Treloy Golf Club is a 9-hole executive golf course with sculptured greens and American Pencross grass. There is also a golf driving range on site and lessons available for novices too.
  • Merlin Golf Club is a short drive from Newquay at Mawgan Porth. It’s an 18-hole course with a friendly clubhouse serving fine ales and good food. That’s the perfect way to end a day of golf. 
  • Trevose Golf Club is close to Harlyn Bay and is home to three classic links courses. It also has spectacular views of Constantine Bay.
  • There’s a friendly welcome at Perranporth Golf Club with its dramatic clifftop location, challenging course and lovely views across Perran Bay.


A holiday favourite among golfers bringing their families with them is Holywell Bay Golf, just a 5-minute drive from the centre of Newquay. This informal 18-hole Par 3 course has first-class fairways and overlooks Holywell Bay Beach. There is also an 18-hole Pitch and Putt course and fun mini-golf.
